On Wednesday, June 3, 2020, FRONTLINE PBS, the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and the Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics presented an important discussion about the present and future effects of the coronavirus on medical professionals, as well as an exploration of the public health considerations as states begin to re-open amidst various pandemic guidelines. The conversation will featured clips from FRONTLINE’s film Inside Italy’s COVID War which shows a behind-the-scenes look at the difficult decisions Italian ER physician Dr. Mangiatordi and her medical colleagues navigated on a daily basis, while Italy was at the epicenter of the outbreak.
