Biweekly Newsletter
Subscribe below to receive the latest updates!
Thanks for your interest in the Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics. We send our newsletter on a biweekly basis, typically on Thursdays in the afternoon. The newsletter takes a summer hiatus in July and a winter hiatus from mid-December through early January.
Content Submissions
While we aim to feature as many announcements as possible, the newsletter is not a comprehensive record of community publications or professional achievements. We depend on submissions to stay informed about our members’ work. Please email us at bioethics_comms@hms.harvard.edu if you have any questions or if you would like to provide us with information about community publications, upcoming events, calls for essays, and job postings related to bioethics. We are in the process of creating an intake form to streamline submissions. More details and a link to the form will be available soon.
All submissions are evaluated for relevance and appropriateness, and inclusion is not guaranteed. To ensure broad representation, repeat submissions from authors recently featured multiple times may be declined or held for a later issue. Submissions may be edited for content or format. Policies are subject to change at the Center’s discretion.
Access to News Articles and Publications
Some of the articles and publications shared in our newsletter may require a log-in or subscription, depending on individual user accounts and the paywall policies of each publication. The Center cannot provide access to content behind paywalls or cover subscription fees. We encourage readers to consult each outlet’s policies for further details.
Harvard students and staff are encouraged to take advantage of the access provided through Harvard Library, which includes free subscriptions to resources such as PubMed, The Journal of the American Medical Association, Science Magazine, The New York Times, Nature, The Washington Post, and many other websites.
