Center alum William Choi, MBE '22, has won the American Society for Bioethics and the Humanities' Student Paper Award for his paper, "The Conceptual Injustice of the Brain Death Standard." Choi has also published another paper, "Ethics of care challenge to advance directives for dementia patients," in the Journal of Medical Ethics. As an MBE student, Choi won the Beecher Prize for the same paper.
