Fourth-year student at Harvard Medical School wins prize for his essay "Should Physicians’ Family Members Receive Special Treatment?"
Sam Doernberg is a fourth-year student at Harvard Medical School. He holds a BA in Philosophy and Neurobiology from Cornell University and completed a fellowship in the NIH Department of Bioethics prior to medical school. He is currently on a research year investigating the role morality obligations of physicians, and is mentored by Dr. Robert Truog. He plans to pursue a career in internal medicine.
