Tim Janchar, MD, MBE
Tim Janchar, MD MBE is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine for Oregon Health Sciences University at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria, Oregon and the director of the Ethics Committee there. He received his MBE from Harvard University in 2023. He received his MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine, his BS in Biology and Chemistry from John Carroll University, and his MFA in Visual Studies from the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Tim completed his emergency medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA. His interests in bioethics focus on emergency medical care and Everyday Ethics. He currently is involved with the Everyday Ethics Affinity Group with his Harvard MBE colleagues.
