Sam Doernberg, MD is an Internal Medicine resident at the Brigham & Women's Hospital. He received his MD from Harvard Medical School. Prior to medical school, he was a fellow in the NIH Department of Bioethics. He conducts research on several areas in clinical ethics, including Normothermic Regional Perfusion (NRP) as well as the role morality of physicians. He has taught Medical Ethics in the Essentials of the Profession course at HMS since he was in medical school.
