Melissa Nosal is the Design and Communications Administrator at the Center for Bioethics. With professional experience spanning universities, nonprofits, and the private sector, she specializes in creating compelling print and digital media that inform and inspire. Throughout her career, Melissa’s graphic design and marketing expertise have helped secure funding for educational and nonprofit organizations, supported grassroots activists and Connecticut lawmakers in passing state legislation, and enabled insurance brokers win and retain major clients across the technology, hospitality, real estate, healthcare, and transportation industries.
Melissa holds a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts with a concentration in Digital Art & Graphic Design from Eastern Connecticut State University, along with professional certifications in User Experience Design from Grow with Google. She is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts and was recognized as Connecticut’s Designer of the Month in April 2021. In 2018, Melissa received the Arthur Lee Perry Award for Worker Engagement and Activism, honoring her community involvement and impactful marketing work.
