Kira (Apse) Dies, ScM, CGC is a board-certified and licensed genetic counselor at Boston Children's Hospital. She received a Master of Science degree in Genetic Counseling in 2003 from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health/National Human Genome Research Institute. She has aided in the development and implementation of clinical trials for multiple neurodevelopmental disorders. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Rosamund Stone Zander Hansjoerg Wyss Translational Neuroscience Center at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her bioethical area of interest focuses on innovative therapies in neurogenetics. She completed a fellowship in Bioethics at Harvard Medical School in 2024 and is an Ethics Associate on the Ethics Advisory Council at Boston Children’s. She was recognized with a Code Talker award in 2017 for excellence in genetic counseling.
