Kate Jackson-Meyer, PhD
Kate Jackson-Meyer, PhD is a Research Associate at the Human Flourishing Program at Harvard University. She earned a PhD in theological ethics from Boston College, an M.A.R. in ethics from Yale Divinity School, and a BA in biology and religion from the University of Southern California. Her research focuses on the role of forgiveness and restoration in supporting individual and communal flourishing, particularly in contexts of moral conflict and tragedy. Her bioethical research is focused on identifying and healing from the challenges of moral dilemmas, moral distress, and moral injury. She is the author of ‘Tragic Dilemmas in Christian Ethics’ (Georgetown University Press, 2022), her work has been published in numerous outlets, including The American Journal of Bioethics, she is a volunteer mediator in the local courts, and she serves on the Research Ethics Committee of a local hospital.
