Ian Stevens, MA, MSc is a Project Manager & Research Assistant at The Hastings Center. He graduated from Harvard Medical School’s Master of Bioethics program in 2024 after obtaining an MA in Philosophy from the University of Tasmania in Australia in 2022. He has mainly published on the ethical tensions of implantable neurotechnologies, like deep brain stimulatory devices. Since starting at The Hastings Center, he has also been gaining experience examining the ethical dilemmas of genomics, precision medicine, and artificial intelligence.
