Hemal N. Sampat, MD, FAAP, FACP, SFHM, HEC-C
Hemal N. Sampat, MD is an adult and pediatric hospitalist physician at Massachusetts General Hospital. He received his MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He serves as an ethics consultant for the MGH Optimum Care Committee and is a member of the Harvard Ethics Leadership Group. He additional is an Associate Program Director in the Harvard-MGH Medicine-Pediatrics Residency, a member of the Core Educator Faculty for the MGH Medicine Residency, and Director of Clinician Training at the MGH Gun Violence Prevention Center. His bioethical focus is on inpatient clinical ethics consultation, including end-of-life care, navigating family dynamics, care of those with complex illness and disabilities, and pediatric bioethics.
