Daniel Eisenkraft Klein, PhD, MSc
Daniel Eisenkraft Klein, MSc, PhD is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Program on Regulation, Therapeutics, And Law (PORTAL) at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital. He teaches Pharmaceutical Ethics in Harvard Medical School's Master of Bioethics program. He received his PhD and MSc from the University of Toronto (Canada), and his BA from McGill University (Canada). His research examines how governance structures and competing stakeholder interests shape pharmaceutical regulation, including current work on patient testimonies at FDA advisory committees and the emerging landscape of direct-to-consumer telehealth prescribing. His bioethical work focuses on stakeholder influence and accountability in contested health policy domains. He has received Doctoral and Postdoctoral Fellowships from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
