Colleen Farrell, MD, HEC-C
Colleen Farrell, MD, HEC-C, is a pulmonary and critical care physician at Cambridge Health Alliance and an instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School. She received her MD from Harvard Medical School, completed residency in Internal Medicine at New York University School of Medicine/Bellevue Hospital and fellowships in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and in Clinical Ethics at NewYork Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine. She teaches HMS students in their medical ethics and professionalism courses and is a member of the ethics committee at CHA. She is especially interested in the ethics of the medical training system, narrative medicine, and medical humanities. Her own narrative work has been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Nation, JAMA, and CHEST, among others.
