Abigail M. Judge, PhD

Abigail M. Judge, PhD, is a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist in private practice, on faculty at MGH, and founder of the nonprofit organization Boston Human Exploitation Advocacy Team (HEAT). She received her Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed her postdoctoral training in child forensic psychology at the Children & the Law Program, MGH, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Judge's work bridges direct clinical care and institutional change, helping systems respond more effectively to women navigating commercial sexual exploitation and addiction. This includes integrating feminist bioethical theory within trauma and addiction services. Her pioneering clinical work has been honored by Commissioner of the Boston Police Department, U.S. Department of Justice and the FBI, the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She provides expert witness testimony on sex trafficking throughout the country.
