Abbas Rattani, MD, MBE is a Staff Radiation Oncologist at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Harvard Teaching Hospital and Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at the BIDMC-affiliated Michael & Jeanne Falzone Center for Cancer Care at Exeter Hospital. He received his MD from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and his MBE from the University of Pennsylvania. He has published numerous peer-reviewed papers and has presented nationally on health systems research ethics, global health, Islamic bioethics, moral imagination, and the role of TV/film in medical ethics education. He has a growing interest in the ethics of artificial intelligence, third spaces as preventative health interventions, arts/culture/narrative in medicine, and ethical issues in oncology.
