Center for Bioethics faculty member Francis Shen's research on aging in the judiciary was cited multiple times this week in response to the suspension of 96-year-old federal judge Pauline Newman of the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit by the Federal Circuit's Judicial Council. Dr. Shen's seminal article, Aging Judges, was cited by the New York Times and Reuters, and Dr. Shen was quoted at length by Bloomberg News.
