Marta Herschkopf, MD, MSt, is a psychiatrist who specializes in the care of patients with concomitant medical and psychiatric illness. After completing her training in psychosomatic medicine/consultation-liaison psychiatry at MGH she joined the faculty at BIDMC and HMS, where she provide clinical care and supervise trainees to enhance the knowledge and the quality of patient care. Dr. Herschkopf has also pursued further training in bioethics and psychodynamic psychotherapy, and is active in ethics programming at her institution and at HMS.
