Paper explores ethical obligations of the medical profession

Center Director Robert Truog, MD, MA has coauthored a paper with Harvard Medical School alum, and current Brigham and Women’s Hospital intern, Samuel Doernberg, MD. Doernberg won the Center’s Beecher Prize in Medical Ethics in 2021. Their paper, in the American Journal of Bioethics, considers the ethical commitments of clinicians as they navigate various arenas within healthcare, such as patient care, research, and industry.
