Samantha Pitkin, MEd, is an Education Program Administrator at the Center for Bioethics and has been working in the Longwood Medical Area since 2019. Prior to coming to the Center for Bioethics, she worked on global postgraduate medical education certificate programming in the Postgraduate Medical Education Office at HMS, and in student enrollment and affairs at Harvard's Division of Continuing Education. She holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park and an MEd in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University. Samantha is passionate about creating and maintaining equitable higher education opportunities for low-income, marginalized student populations in urban settings, creating and bettering institutional DEI initiatives, and academic advising at the post-baccalaureate level. Outside of work you can typically find Samantha hiking with friends in the New Hampshire White Mountains and taking pottery classes at Harvard's Office for the Arts.
