Robin Jones, MD, MBE
Robin Moira Jones, MD, MBE, is a child neurologist at Massachusetts General Hospital, and an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. She completed her BA at Yale in Philosophy and her medical training at MGH in Child Neurology, followed by a research fellowship in Neuro-oncology at MGH. She completed the HMS bioethics Fellowship in 2017 and the HMS Master of Bioethics in 2019. Dr. Jones is a member of the Optimum Care Committee and the Pediatric Ethics Committee at MGH. She is the neurologist attending the Pediatric Hematology Oncology program at MGH, with a robust proton treatment center for childhood brain tumors. She studies the late effects of treatments for brain tumors, specifically the syndrome of cerebellar mutism. Her ethics research focused on the challenges IRB’s and investigators face while optimizing childhood assent to research.
