Erin Sharoni, ALM, MBE, is a researcher for the National Institutes of Health Bridge to Artificial Intelligence program. She received a Master of Bioethics from Harvard Medical School, a master's in the field of biology from Harvard Extension School, and a bachelor's in Studio Art from Wesleyan University. Erin is an executive and current advisor to companies in the biotechnology, cybersecurity, and commercial space exploration sectors. She is a Teaching Fellow at the HMS Center for Bioethics, an Associate Fellow of the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics, and an Affiliate of The Galileo Project at the Harvard–Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. Her research interests focus on three areas and their intersection: animal-free technologies, artificial intelligence, and the ethical implications of the search for life in the universe. Erin is the founder of the ET Ethics Society, an organization working to establish the interdisciplinary field of extraterrestrial ethics.
