Faculty Assistant

Alyssa Frey, MA is the Faculty Assistant for the Center for Bioethics where she supports the Director and Associate Director, as well as center faculty and staff through administrative and operational coordination. Previously, she worked for the Alumni Relations and Resource Development office at Harvard Kennedy School as the Development Assistant for Major Gifts, and as the Program Assistant for the Office of the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Students and Programs at the Carolyn A. and Peter S. Lynch School of Education and Human Development at Boston College. Alyssa studied English Literature and Chemical Science at the Florida State University, where she graduated from the undergraduate honors college in 2017. She also holds a master's degree in philosophy from Boston College. Alyssa is passionate about supporting higher education in ethics and bioethics, and is academically interested in the intersection of bioethics, healthcare policy, and medical practice. Outside of work, you can find her reading philosophy and 19th century British literature with her two cats, exploring courses at the Harvard Extension School, or cooking with her partner.
