Jan Borysowski, MD, PhD

Jan Borysowski, MD, PhD, is a visiting Kościuszko Foundation scholar. He graduated from the I Faculty of Medicine, the Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. Currently he is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Clinical Immunology, Medical University of Warsaw. Jan is also head of the Center for Studies on Research Integrity, Institute of Law Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences. His interests include ethics of expanded access to investigational drugs (sometimes termed compassionate use), publication ethics and ethics of clinical research. During his scholarship at the Center for Bioethics, Harvard Medical School, he is going to study ethical principles of treatment use of investigational drugs as well as ethics and transparency of expanded access programs.
