Harvard Ethics Leaders Group
Harvard Medical School is unique and unmatched in its clinical affiliations with sixteen teaching hospitals—many ranked as the best in the world. Although each hospital has an independent ethics committee or ethics process, Center Executive Director Christine Mitchell, RN, MTS, spearheaded and gathers the ethics leadership from each hospital several times each year.
The Harvard Ethics Leaders Group (HELG) is a hub for clinical ethics leaders and committees across Harvard that allows each institution to convene and collaborate—sharing best practices to fully integrate ethics and clinical care and support the well-being of care providers.
