Kaitlynn Counihan, MA, MHM, is a research assistant in the Brain Bioethics Lab at Harvard Medical School's Center for Bioethics. She received her master in bioethics as well as her master in healthcare management from Case Western Reserve University. She has spent over five years conducting qualitative bioethics research surrounding issues related to prenatal genetic results, human-animal chimera research, and understanding how IRBs assess risk and benefits for Phase I clinical trials. Kaitlynn is interested in bridging the worlds of healthcare administration and bioethics through research, service, and teaching.
