Thomas Hauser, MD, MPH, MMSc, is an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, and the director of nuclear cardiology and the vice chair of the Institutional Review Board at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He received his BA in chemistry and physics from Harvard University, his MD with honors from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, his MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health, and his MMSc from Harvard Medical School. He is interested in the bioethical issues around IRB review of human subject’s research and radiation exposure to research subjects.
