Thomas Hauser, MD, MPH, MMSc, is an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, and the director of nuclear cardiology and the vice chair of the Institutional Review Board at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He received his BA in chemistry and physics from Harvard University, his MD with honors from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, his MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health, and his MMSc from Harvard Medical School.

Marta Herschkopf, MD, MSt is a psychiatrist on the consultation service at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an instructor at Harvard Medical School. Erica Holland, MD, is a clinical fellow in maternal and fetal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She received her BA from Cornell University and her MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School.              She is interested in the bioethics of decision-making at the limits of fetal viability, and the care of pregnant women with substance use disorders.

Dr. Houman received a Ph.D. in microbiology and molecular biology from Tufts Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences.
