Sheryl Katzanek, BA, is the director of the Patient Advocacy and Domestic Violence Programs at Boston Medical Center. She received her BA from Boston University with a concentration in international relations and Russian. She is interested in end-of-life care and reframing the concept of futility. Sheryl was a 2012 nominee for the Kenneth B. Schwartz Compassionate Caregiver Award.
Sam D. Kim, DMin, MDiv, is the senior minister at 180 Church NYC. He received his DMin in ethical leadership at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, exploring pervasive and adaptive issues in the emotional ecology in the soul of the leader. He conducted further research at Yale School of Medicine, exploring professional burnout among caregivers.
