He has extensive experience in legal issues related to research with humans and animals, stem cell and genetic research, research grants and contracts, research misconduct, and international research. Mark also frequently advises clients on clinical trials compliance, Medicare reimbursement, False Claims Act issues, and medical privacy.

Wes Boyd, MD, PhD is on the faculty at the Center for Bioethics and an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He is a staff psychiatrist at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) and is the co-founder of the Human Rights and Asylum Clinic at CHA. Wes graduated with a BA cum laude from Yale in philosophy. He then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received an MA in philosophy, a Ph.D. in religion and culture, and a medical degree.

Lynne Brady Wagner, MA, CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist and is the Director of the Stroke Program and the Chair of the Ethics Advisory Committee at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. She earned a graduate certificate in Healthcare Ethics from Rush University Medical School and was a Disability Ethics Fellow at Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and the MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics at the University of Chicago.

Allan M. Brandt, PhD

Allan M. Brandt is the Amalie Moses Kass Professor of the History of Medicine and Professor of the History of Science.  He holds a joint appointment between the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Harvard Medical School.  Brandt served as Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences from 2008 to 2012.  He earned his undergraduate degree at Brandeis University and a Ph.D.

Anthony C. Breu, MD

Anthony Breu is Instructor in Medicine at the Harvard Medical School and Director of Resident Education at the VA Boston Healthcare System. Dr. Breu holds a BA in Bioethics from Brown University and an MD from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He completed residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, followed by a year as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Breu is a practicing Hospitalist at the VA Boston Healthcare System.

Dan Brock is the Frances Glessner Lee Professor of Medical Ethics, Emeritus, in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine. Prior to his arrival at Harvard, Professor Brock was Senior Scientist and a member of the Department of Clinical Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health. Until July 2002, he was Charles C. Tillinghast, Jr.

Stephen D. Brown, MD
Associate Professor of Radiology

Dr. Brown is a pediatric radiologist at Boston Children’s Hospital who specializes in prenatal and pediatric body imaging. His work explores professional norms and ethical values that underlie clinical decision-making and communication in the setting of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. His projects as a PI have included a national survey of prenatal care providers’ attitudes about pregnancy management in the setting of various fetal and maternal conditions, and development of communication skills training programs for prenatal care providers and radiologists.
