Angela joined Harvard University in 2001 and Harvard Medical School in 2011. She manages all communications for the HMS Center for Bioethics, overseeing event marketing, print and digital communications, including web, social media, email, video, and the production of the Harvard Medical School Bioethics Journal.
As the program and finance administrator, Ms. Bastille, MSc., is responsible for the oversight of the Center's finances, and the day-to-day management of the the Center's programming and administrative team. A longstanding member of the Harvard University community, Ms.
Laura, a part-time staff assistant, is part of the administrative team at the Center. She is responsible for the logistics for regularly scheduled and occasional meetings such as, Ethics Consortium, Neuroethics Seminars, Research Ethics Consortium, and Public Ethics Forums, Harvard Ethics Leaders Meetings, and Organizational Ethics. She supports the functions of the Master’s program, drafts the with the weekly MBE newsletter and also assists our teaching faculty with their Canvas sites.
Brooke Shinnamon Tempesta oversees the Master of Bioethics, Fellowship in Bioethics, and Responsible Conduct of Research Programs at the Center for Bioethics. She recently defended her doctoral thesis on the motivations of mid-career professionals who pursued master’s degrees in bioethics and her EdD will be conferred from Northeastern University in December 2019. She received a master of arts degree in higher education administration and student development from Boston College and bachelor of science in education, magna cum laude, from Bridgewater State College.
