Mary C. Walsh, PhD
Mary C. Walsh, PhD, is Chief Scientific Investigator in the Office for Academic Research and Integrity (ARI), Harvard Medical School (HMS). Mary trained as an immunologist at Albany Medical College, Albany NY, and came to HMS to complete a postdoctoral fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). Prior to joining the ARI team, Mary served as Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs at HMS and an Instructor of Anesthesia at BWH. Her interest in bioethics stems from her current roles in research misconduct and academic research data forensics, and in understanding the foundations of research rigor and transparency within our community.
