Jonathan Michael Marron, MD, MPH
Research Fellow

Jonathan Marron, MD, MPH, is an instructor in pediatrics at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and an attending physician in pediatric hematology/oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) and Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH). He also serves as a clinical ethicist at BCH. Jonathan received a BA in human biology at Stanford University, an MPH from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and an MD from the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. He completed a pediatrics residency at Stanford University and pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at BCH/DFCI. Jonathan also completed fellowships in clinical medical ethics at the University of Chicago MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics and in pediatric health services research at BCH and HMS. Jonathan is a member of the DFCI Ethics Committee and IRB. Jonathan’s research examines the intersection of ethics and decision-making in medical practice with an emphasis on genomics in pediatric oncology. He has received support from the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, and the National Institutes of Health.
