Ghiath Alahmad, MD, PhD, MD, PhD
Ghiath Alahmad, M.D., Ph.D. is a Syrian bioethicist and a scientist at King Abdullah International Medical Research Center KAIMRC [Saudi]. He received his MD from faculty of Medicine at Damascus University (Syria). Ghiath has two PhDs: the first PhD is in bioethics from KU Leuven (Belgium), while the 2nd PhD is in Islamic Studies from Ouzai University (Lebanon). He completed as well a Fellowship in Medical Ethics at Harvard Medical School. Ghiath is interested in clinical and research ethics and has many publications in peer reviewed journals. His latest book is about medical research ethics in Islam.
