Glenn Ellis, MPH, is the president of Strategies for Well-Being, a health and wellness educator, an IRB member, and a medical writer whose work focuses on health equity and ethics in medicine. A native of Birmingham, Alabama, his undergraduate studies were in a pre-med core curriculum at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a certified health care ethicist from St. Joseph’s University, and received his MPH at the University of Liverpool. Glenn is passionately focused on the ethical protection of patient rights—especially those of African Americans and other historically marginalized populations—in medical care and clinical research. Glenn has presented at scientific, academic and health conferences throughout the United States, as well as in Belgium, Cuba, Germany, Italy, Kenya, the Netherlands, South Africa, and Ukraine.
